For now I (Emily Silver) am the one and only teacher at Silver Studios.
This course is for young artists ages 14-17.
In this class we will have 2 main goals. The first goal is to become more aware about the impacts that we as artists have on the environments around us, and how to be more conscientious in our art making. The second goal is to explore all of the creative possibilities that exist with the materials and items that are normally thrown away or considered to be useless, or even trash.
Some of the projects that we may complete are:
Recycled Landscapes
Mixed Media Collages
Magazine Portraits
Cardboard Structures
Cardboard Animals
or others!
This class will take place from the comfort of your own home while in a zoom class with me from my home studio.
This class will be on Tuesday afternoons at 5:00pm est.
The first free class will be on Tuesday April 7, 2026.

This course will not only encourage you or your young artist to be more responsible in their material use, but will push their creativity to see the possibilities all around them. This course encourages young artists to not feel limited by what "art" supplies they do or don't have and will show them that almost anything can be used to create.
The only supplies that you/your young artist will need for this course is paper, drawing materials, a scissor, and an adhesive.
This course will cost $300 total for 10 classes.
To be paid following confirmation of registration.
